Shamelessly borrowing, skysue16 's alphabet walk..D is for dunnock...the small brown bird often mistaken for a sparrow.
They nip and tuck in and out of the hedgerows, mocking me on my runs and just dawdle, beside me with obvious delight, on my walk back.
The speed and alacrity as they dart in and out, seekin tiny insects, is alarming!
Not really seen much in gardens or on garden feeders?
No one has told my small feathered friends...as I came through my back garden gate...two squabbling on the grass!
A brisk walk to clear the head,...Day 4.
Tomorrow a very early start to get Mr OF to the hospital for tests...will mean a later walk around the hospital grounds..
I wonder what ,G, will bring.
Happy walking folks..
