First of all that you to all who reply to my various posts.
I finally got a four wheel outside walker from NHS. I am trying to get used to it. I am just curious can I keep my walker in the backseat of the car. Has anyone had walkers stolen???
I met a holistic doctor at a holiday resort - he told me that I should get tested for vitamin D - as people with ataxia are prone to need more vitamin D. Is this true? Are any of you having vitamin D supplements?
He also told me to wear shoes that will help in gait balance? Does anyone wear special shoes for gait and balance and walking?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi, I think you may have intended to post this on the Ataxia UK forum - I don't know if it was a slip of the keyboard or the technology has done something odd.
I reckon you'll get some better informed answers there than we can give you here, but wanted to wish you happy journeys with your walker. The right aids can make such a difference.
