Firstly, I'd like to say thank you to everyone gor their support, particularly Fran182716 who has given me some good advice and helped me looked at my weight loss plans sensibly.
Weighed in yesterday at 15 stone 1lb, lost 1lb.
Last week was tough for me. 3 social events at work with lots of high calorie food on offer, family party last night and the kids seemed to have more things to do I needed to be dad's taxi for so time wasn't at a premium for me.
To combat this, I have changed my walk to work to go a longer route, (1.2 mile further), got up half hour earlier each day to do my cycling and exercises, (now up to 14 situps and 14 pushups twice a day, 15 of each next week) and aimed for 2,000 - 2,150 calories a day.
Feel much better now I've increased my calories and surprisingly lost 1lb.
Anyway, walking really helps and it's surprising how a slight change to my walk to work can still achieve a loss of 1lb.
Everyone that is trying their best to walk and lose weight, keep at it and if you have a setback in your goal, park it to one side and move forward again and to all of us and I'm no expert, just keep at it, it will pay off in the long run.
