been having left sided abdominal pain and pain after eating , bouts of loose stool - did a private FIT and was positive. Went to GP and requested another one - which result was 4 , which supposed to be normal - however still symptomatic and ferritin level halved from 92-43 in a few moths and tired all the time, any advice

🤔Ongoing pain..and bouts of loose stool…could be linked to various causes…..I’d ask my GP for a referral. Decreasing ferriten is likely to be causing tiredness ..plus possibly other symptoms…for peace of mind have further discussion with your GP.
pain on the left side and diarrhoea could be diverticulosis. This is what I have. The only way to be sure is a colonoscopy. Definitely see your GP,and request a referral. Hope you get it sorted.
yep get a colonoscopy. Sounds like diverticulitis. I’m not a doctor though so listen to yours. The great thing about getting a colonoscopy is that they’ll get rid of any polyps you may have. It takes polyps many years for them to turn cancerous so great to have one for a few years of peace of mind. They’ll also test for H pylori and coeliacs. A sensitivity to gluten can cause diarrhoea and also gut inflammation which means you won’t be absorbing all your nutrients or iron. This in turn can make you tired
