hi, I have just had a laparoscopic myomectomy. Would it be better to wear loose clothing to avoid pressure or leggings to avoid the bloods clots?

🤔 Nothing on this link (NHS)…but I have seen another which says don’t put pressure on the wound, wear loose clothing.

🤔 It could depend on the method of surgery

🤔 Speak to your GP or Practice Nurse

thank you. I appreciate your help. I’ve read both so it’s confusing. The dr said to wear leggings but they are uncomfortable.

Yes..they can be… I’ve had some from M&S with a very wide tight waistband..they’re a struggle to get on and off.
