I suffered from fibroids for many years. What do you want to know about fibroids?

I did not know about them when I miscarriage 4 years ago. I have had 9 removed in 2016, a further 1 or 2 in 2018 and one or two earlier this year.

Yes, I had a huge one removed a few years ago and I’ve still got some smaller ones left. They made my periods heavy and excruciating.

Last scan, I had two. One is enormous, but causes no problems other than taking up bladder space..

My friend has several small ones that caused constant bleeding until she had a Mirena fitted, though that caused other problems.

I did not have a clue about fibroids and only found out by chance. Frustratingly, there are many other women in the same boat. I started a blog to raise awareness so that women are not as ignorant about fibroids as I was. If detected early enough, there are things us women can do to limit the impact of fibroids

What is the blogs name? Would love to get it out there to help others.

I found out I have one 2 months ago and am having it out in the morning. These heavy periods I’ve been having for the last few months will hopefully cease!
