I was prescribed Diflofenac..for pain relief with gallstones. It’s an anti inflammatory. But..the spasm usually lasted about 20mins and I couldn’t decide whether the medication was helpful or not. Eventually I had keyhole surgery, this was straightforward and I recovered quickly. I wasn’t taking other medication at the time, but it can interact with some medications.

🙂 Your doctor must have a good reason for changing medications, it might help if you went back and had a reassuring chat.
