Im newly 20 and i need some help with is a possibly have pcos please im having a panic attack over this :(

Hello my name is red and im 20 on the 19th of September. Some background i have a recessed chin so i always put it off to thy nonot pcos but i found a black hair on my boob today i didnt get pregnat even after unsafe sex with 2 partner over a span of 3 years until i did so i know i can get pregnant but yes it took a good while and ive been chubby since i was 11 and have always had such a hard time with food. I do have a little bit of darker hair i think its called a trail and the hair seeks darker and stronger than iit used to grow it but then agai. I dont even know if a little trail if normal for other woman my mom isnt in my life :( anyways im so scared and i just turned 20 and i have no clue if someone can talk to me it would reqlly help

Definitely talk to a doc. I'm not sure everything you mentioned has to do with PCOS. Try to stay positive. Hormones affect a lot of our bodies processes, it is hard to say what is going on eith what you mentioned. My mother wasn't in the picture either. I did survive, my experience is mother's don't always know, especially if they have not experienced it. I am now 61. You will get here too.

Without a scan it is difficult to diagnose, in spite of all the symptoms- hair loss, heavy frequent periods, overweight and not being able to shift it, my daughter suffered for years until a locum diagnosed her at 23!

Please see your GP-if you don't tell them they can't help. Often GP's know little about it but it affects at least 10% of young women so it's important to see an endocrinologist to confirm. Good lck-come back and tell us how you are getting on!
