Swollen lymph node in armpit

Has anyone had a swollen node in their arm pit? Ive had them before and they take forever to go away. This time its been 2 weeks and Ive seen 3 doctors now but I still continue to feel it and look at it 😩

I completely understand the constant want to prod it. I have two in my neck the size of chickpeas and have had an ultrasound which the doctor said it’s not cancer however they haven’t changed or gone back down since November and I’m slightly worried too but I try to hold on to the fact a doctor has seen and confirmed they’re not cancerous and just lymphnodes. I’ve heard warm compresses really help take the armpit ones down.

I’ve had them in my neck before. I kept prodding those too! After having the ultrasound I wouldnt worry at all. They sometimes take forever to go away unfortunately

She seemed pretty certain about it as she said defo not cancerous lumps but just lymphnodes straight away so I’m kinda holding onto that to stay sane. I hope yours go down too but getting them checked is the easiest way too feel better about it all

I had 2 doctors tell me its ok and Im still worried 😌 hopefully yours goes away soon

It could be a reaction to the anti perspirant/deodorant you could be using? Sometimes using sprays cause sensitivity/blockage in the glands resulting in a small lump. When I had this I used a warm wet flannel with downward strokes daily to alleviate the urge to touch it and it eventually went. Hope this helps.🙂
