Really scared need reassurance

Hi everyone I am new to this app, a month or so ago I have discovered a lump or two in my right breast and have put off calling the doctor for a referral to the hospital. I am experiencing a yellow tinged sometimes clear discharge when I squeeze out of just my right breast and they both really feel tender and achy. I am on Cerelle and I have been twice before to the hospital with lumps and have been told they were benign Fibroadenoma’s.. I called for a doctors appointment and was given a telephone consultation appointment but I missed the call today and am extremely nervous to rebook my appointment and get a referral.. anyone else experienced anything similar? I suffer from health anxiety and during covid I haven’t checked my breasts as often as I would have beforehand

Please rebook and speak to your gp. I know you're scared but the chances are you will get the same diagnoses as previous visits and you'll be fine. But if you don't find out the anxiety will keep eating at you.

Don't worry about having missed the call, they're not going to tell you off. Do some relaxation exercises and then pick up the phone, as they're there to help you. Ignoring a health problem won't make it go away. You can do this 🤗 wishing you well.

You need peace of mind, please don’t hesitate to rebook your appointment.

Fibrocystic changes in your breasts may cause lumps or thickenings in your breast tissue. They do not indicate, though, the presence of cancer. In addition to causing pain and itching, fibrocystic breast changes can, at times, cause secretion of clear, white, yellow, or green nipple discharge.6 Nov 2020
