Nausea as a consequence of radiotherapy

Because of a cervical tumor, I started going for radiotherapy.

After the second day of therapy I have terrible nausea and all my food has a horrible smell.

Is that normal?

Yes, ask your Dr for some anti sickness tablets.

I had radiotherapy for breast cancer and found I had nausea most of the way through radiotherapy as the rays were catching my stomach and irritating it. I didn't have a change of taste though.

Let the nurses know when you go for your next treatment and try to eat little and often to reduce irritation.
