Thrush pessary

Anyone know how long it takes for thrush pessary to dissolve? Also if you are meant to feel it in there ect?

I’ve used it once before. It took over night (8-9 hours) before it fully dissolved in me. It usually takes affect after a couple of days but they do say to wait 7days then visit your doctor if it’s not worked. I put mine in before I went to sleep and always put a pad on as it will crumble out, that’s normal.

Hi thank you for replying! This might sound a bit TMI but if I feel down there I can feel it, is this normal?

I inserted it a couple of hours ago and trying to get comfortable to sleep x

You might not have inserted it in further enough. Is it uncomfortable?

It will start to dissolve so don’t worry, if you can push it in more that might help? Don’t hurt yourself though x
