Hello, I’ve recently started on cerazette due to possible endometriosis and bladder pain I have which may or may not be related.
Had my first period on it today and there are lots of blood clots (sorry) and I’m still having cramps.
Is this to be expected? What are your experiences with cerazette?
All I can say is that when I had the coil-with-progesterone, the first period I had was excruciating. I think there were blood clots, pain all down my legs, I thought it would never stop and I thought I would need to have the coil removed. But after that - I was fine. But check with your doctor because the pill and the coil - obviously not the same thing. It was the mention of pelvic pain as I had the coil for that reason.

Sounds painful. Perhaps it’s just getting used to it and then will settle down
Hi, I took cerazette about 2 years ago and experienced constant bleeding on it, have given it another go this year and again have had the same thing. I tried to ride out the wave for about 6 months 2 years ago (to no advantage) and I think I will stop this time too, as I’ve also found the bleeding to be more painful and heavy like you mentioned. My doctor told me it can take 3 months for it to settle down so it depends if you want to give it that amount of time I think 😊
