LATE HRT...

Hello, I've started HRT 3 months ago - 100 UTROGESTAN and 1mg Estradiol- I am 58 years old and my period stopped 11 years ago.

I am just wondering if it could be unsafe starting so late. I've heard different opinions on this. I am benefiting a lot from the progesterone, I sleep better.

I have osteopenia.

Thank you

I'm 72 and I take HRT...estradiol and norethindrone....smallest dose possible. Helps me alot with taking away hot flashes and night sweats....mood elevator, I believe, too. I'm not worried about the side effects...I'd rather have a good quality of life now, than suffer with the horrid side effects of losing all my hormones....
