Bleeding /spotting after being on mini pill for 2+ years

Hi there I just wondered if anyone else has ever experienced what I have with Noriday mini pill, or any contraceptive pill for that matter.

I began taking Noriday mini pill over 2 years ago now and for those 2 years I had no periods or spotting what so ever.

All of a sudden 2 years later I start getting bleeding, cramping and spotting unpredictably. I get heavier bleeds then a month of nothing or sometimes light bleeding every other week. I’ve mentioned it to the doctor and they did a physical exam and tests and everything seems fine.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this as I think it’s strange that it’s only just started after 2 years of taking the pill when normally irregular bleeding is more to be expected during the first few months of starting the mini pill!

Thanks so much everyone :)

Type Noriday, and also (separately) mini pill, in the search box (above right) to see links to previous discussions.
