Hello I'm new to the group,was just looking for a bit of advice,ive been getting a cyst right at the top of my bum kind of in the middle,it comes back every month for about a week ,it's so painful,and when it opens up it's just blood is that normal,sorry a bit grim thank you

It could be something called a perirectal access. Have you been to your GP?

At the top of your tailbone? Might be a pilonidal cyst. Google it.

Hello yes that's what Google says,it says that usually men get them,so think I'm just unlucky thank you

I had one for 10+ years. Finally had it removed. Epsom salt baths help some of you catch it early when it’s first flaring up.
