There are some very knowledgeable folks on the HU PA forum that would be able to advise you as to whether your reaction might be to the B12 injections. The only negative side effect I had was spots, which is common. Maybe sublingual B12 could suit you better. Is your folate level optimal, as this is essential for B12 to work effectively.
We can sometimes associate a side effect with the wrong thing, so best ask the experts on the other forum.
With regard to your women’s issues, they may be age related problem. If you’re having frequent periods, an additional iron supplement could be helpful. Don’t take ferrous fumararate which is an industrial byproduct. Opt for ferrous sulphate or bisglycinate which is better absorbed & easier on our digestion.
Normal is a very objective term given the NHS tendency to allow people to become more ill before treatment is provided. Male doctors can be unhelpful & lacking in empathy. Do you have access to a women’s’ health clinic or a female GP that you can speak to about your symptoms & hopefully provide a more holistic approach?
