Vagina Issues

Hi there

Recently, I woke up with this sharp, stabbing pain in my vagina. I am still a virgin but I feel like the skin around that area is quite loose and sore. Someone I know took a look for me and said there was discharge in a "creamy" sort of colour. I am taking pain relief as and when. However, I am reluctant to go to the GP as there is only one female and she is away. To be honest, there has been no trauma to my vagina, as I said, it is something I have had for a few days and I woke up with it. Can anyone help me out?

See the practice nurse if you don't want to see a male GP, assuming your nurse is female ! Could be something like thrush so you may need treatment.

I have just spoken to NHS 111 service and they recommended seeing a nurse.

It started with a spot like a thing a few days ago which I put some cream on and then baby powder and since the baby powder, this searing, stabbing pain has come along. It now even hurts to pass urine. However, I will book to see the nurse ASAP.
