Irregular periods/trying for a baby

Hi,

I have irregular periods, I have been on contraceptives since I was 18 and I’m now 31.

Two years ago I changed from the implant to a pill (the one you take for all 28 days because of my weight).

Irregular periods have never bothered me before but now me and my partner are trying for our first child.

Can anyone recommend ways of regulating my periods? I asked the doctors and they’ve said to just monitor it for the foreseeable which has left me frustrated?
