Hey guys! I’m on my third Mirena. I love it but I haven’t had a period in 11 years! My dr said it’s completely fine not to have one. Has anyone else experienced no periods at all on the Mirena.

I have a Mirena coil for about 3 years and also not had a proper period. From time to time I get a little (and I mean little!) blood, but it's barely anything to speak if. Generally it's one wipe and it's gone! So, I don't think you are alone!

I’m on my 3rd one too and haven’t had any periods. I occasionally got spotting when a new one was put in, but nothing since. The only downside is that I think I’m in menopause now but have no idea where I am with my periods as I don’t have them. My dr told me it would stay in now til after menopause.

I loved mirena. No periods, it was wonderful. I took it out last year as my husband and I thought we would try for another baby but it’s been a year so maybe that’s not in the plan for us. I’ll definitely get mirena again.
