Pain after chiropractic treatment. 1year post hysterectomy.

Hi there. I have recently had a chiropracter treatment on my lower back. Since the treatment, and whist he did the treatment, I've had pain on the lower right side of my abdomen, from inside of my right hip area up to parallel with my navel. Initially sharp pain, but now a dull continuous pain. No bleeding from anywhere. Just wondered if anyone had experience of similar? I was thinking it could be internal bruising, pulled muscles or did it tear adhesions? It was quite forceful, and as I said it was painful to the lower right side at the time. If I hadn't already had my appendix out, I would be concerned it was something like that, as it is a persistent dull pain. Any advice from anyone gratefully received. Thanks

If your chiropractor is using force then you shouldn't see him again, treatment should never cause pain. It does sound as if something has been damaged, maybe a trip to your GP if things don't settle down.

Find a chiro who uses gentle treatment methods, I have been with my chiro for 20 years on and off and I can honestly say she never uses any force and I've never had any pain problems afterwards.

Thanks. Yes will see whether it calms down in the next couple of days.
