I'm new here. I just joined today. I too have a fibroid. It's very small at 26mm. It was discovered a year ago during a pap smear. The gynaecologist said it was non cancerous and nothing to be worried about. Now, a year later I started having burning pain in my right pelvic region. I went back to the gynae and they told me it is still at 26mm and not dangerous. I mentioned the pain and the doctor said it was unrelated to the fibroid. Everything else was normal. So for the life of me I can't imagine where the pain is coming from.
I also have a very serious lung disease and so I am always a bit bloated and full because of hyperinflation in my lungs. So it's hard to know if it's caused by the fibroid or my lungs. But I know what you mean about the bloating. You mention having IBS. Does that cause bloating too?
I hope you had your follow up with your gynae and it all went smoothly?
