I have various bits of exercise stuff and walk around 10k steps most days so why am I like this...round ...( and no, I don't eat THAT much chocolate)

would love to hear from anyone who feels the same as me...

Hello 48frumpie,

I feel the same as you. I'm 38 in October and also need to loose about 2 stone.

I've had some problems the last few years, and had a few tablets that have made me put some weight on 😞

I've managed to loose a little bit and that have me motivation then had another period of stress and it just seems to have gone back on 😤

Im sure you'll get there!

Best wishes 💗

Hi there I am 49 and realised last year that I needed to loose weight as I was feeling exactly the same as you - I joined slimming world again!!! I have yo yo'd with weight since I was very young but I have up to now lost 4 stone and am feeling much better - I still would like to loose more but I have gone from sixe 18/20 to 14/16 and am really delighted with that - I have found it much easier this time and have kept it going for over a year now. I am also going through the menopause which is awful so I am really pleased I stuck at it. Join a class and get going it will work - stay to the groups as that really helps.

Hi I am 48 soon to be 49 I need to lose 2 stone aswell as I now weigh 14 stone terrible! Nothing in my wardrobe fits anymore have put a load of stuff onto Ebay. I have been through the menopause and I also take levothyroxine. My back is certainly taking the strain and have trouble with my discs. I am a carer for my partner so I dont really have an active normal life outside the home. Am trying very hard to cut out the junk, my partner had a day at the hospice yesterday and they sent him home with a chocolate bunny and a load of cakes from their cake stall bang went the diet! xx

I feel for you all.I can't remember how long I've yo yo dieted.I am now 56 so menopause is been going on since I was 45 ish.I found that replacement meals twice a day,Drinking more water and walking then a healthy meal in evening.I use slimming world recipes which are found on line. The shakes I use are juice plus ones they are plant based and have protein mix them with coconut milk or almond milk. Its so easy for it to creep on as the menopause hormone imbalance is hard to fight.Stress and feeling down doesn't help as that can make you comfort eat.Weight is harder to lose when you get older.I hope that you're not alone helps you feel motivated to push yourselves to succeed with your weight loss.xx
