Hiya.

Recently I had open surgery on a femoral hernia. Although the cut is healing fine, I'm very swollen!! And as it's on my groin it doesn't look very pleasant! 😟 I know I'm being impatient as my surgery was only 11 days ago, but as anyone had surgery of this nature, and how long did the swelling take to go down? Thanks 😀

Hello, sorry to say I am only on day 4 of the same surgery but just wondered how your healing is going? My groin looks horrible! So puffy - I'm dreading taking off the dressing which my surgeon said to do on 7th day. Did you find anything helped with swelling? Ice pack etc or has it gone down (much) on its own? Hope you're doing well.
