Hiya..

Just wondering if anyone has any advice regarding having a laparoscopy..

I'll be having adhesions from my c section scar cut and hopefully a dermoid cyst removed from my ovary.

Wondering what the recovery is like and how long it takes and would it be same as with a section where you need bottoms that don't press on your middle..

Thanks in advance

Hi Roobiedoobie,

I had that done a few years ago. They went in through my belly button and one other tiny incision. It only took a few days to recover and was nowhere near as sore as my c-section. Do you know if they are doing it keyhole surgery?

With regards to what to wear you maybe a little tender so loose clothing for coming out of hospital probably best.

It was the best thing I had done as the adhesions were causing me pain. You won't regret it.

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply.. I'm feeling a little better about it now.

It will be key hole so no big sore scar I figure.
