Hello,

I would like to find out what are the side effects of taking Amlodipine tablets for blood pressure. Have you experienced any tiredness,loss of libido, back pain, etc? What are your experiences in taking these tabs for a long time.

Any help or remedies to overcome these side effects?

I was hypertensive for many more than 20 years and Amlodipine was a regular anti hypertensive. It can also cause water retention. Most medications have side effects. Try asking your doctor to change it.

Yes I have, and it's a headache and feelings of dizziness

Hi yes i have high blood pressure and high chlorestrol my doctor gave me amlodipine and i feel dizzy and went to see him and he said it was because i had not long started taking them but its been 2 weeks and i still feel the same also just dont feel myself.

Hi there I was pleased to see you questions about this brand of blood pressure tablets. I have had a dreadful backache or 2 weeks and also upset stomach, Also I feel extremely tired at first I thought it must be a bug but it's not improving. I have been taking Alodophine for nearly 6 weeks now and am convinced it's this medication that's making me feel very miserable, will make an appt yo see my GP and post the outcome.
