I am concerned because my period is due in around 8 days, although it's very irregular, and i think i'm getting either blood in my pee or spotting. i googled spotting and says it's a pregnancy symptom but I've not had sex in about 6 months. also been having other symptoms of kidney/uti's such as pain in side and burning while peeing. I don't know what to do.

As it's unusual and you have other symptoms, a trip to the doctor is best. If it becomes a regular monthly thing, the your hormones might be a bit imbalanced, and you might need to look at your diet/exercise routines to make sure you're not putting your body under undue stress (e.g. exercising too much)
Hi there i had this a month ago it was a uti i had a 3 day course of antibiotics, call your doctor left untreated can get worse, take rest plenty of water and feel better x
