Right, after losing just over 2 stone a few years ago I have managed to put it all back on. This has happened because I have not been ating properly or exercising enough. Having just come back from a holiday in the sun I have decided to do something about my weight as it was miserable wearing a swimming costume and having to expose my legs to the world. I also have a lot of nice clothes that I can no longer wear and I really want to.
I've come to realise that I over eat when I'm tired, stressed, upset or lonely so I am now going to make sure that I stop doing this. I read health and fitness magazines and I enjoy cooking and sport and keeping fit so I have no excuses for not making progress. I have also started walking 40 minutes to and from work everyday which is definitely a positive start. I just need to make sure I keep up the good work!

I am in the same position and I too have lots of clothes in my wardrobe I cannot get into. Walking with the lighter evenings and hopefully nicer weather is a good habit to get into - I can't walk to work but go for a 30 minute walk when I get home from work. All the best
Definitely a very positive that you have started to walk to work. Do you have a nice bike run near where you live for the weekends. its so nice to do that without the work thing going on.
Day 3 and I am loving the excercise routine that I am back into. I just need to make sure that I don't eat when I'm bored, although the things I have been eating are much healthier than I was snacking on before which is a start.
Mazhar1, I don't have a bike where I live at the moment but there are some nice parks to walk round and I tend to walk everywhere, which I really enjoy. It's nice to be outside rather than stuck on a crowded bus/train/tube!
