Starting Again!

Hi I am starting this morning, after having a few (lots) of months off even thinking of dieting, well actually thats not quite true, as I have been low carb, high fat, doing anything that is in the media to help, but none of it works. So I know the NHS diet works so I am back to it this morning, got a little notepad on the go writing down my calories etc. What finally did it for me was last night, I drank loads of wine and then ate lots and lots of chocolate and ended up feeling sick! I though if this is eating to enjoy then I feel rubbish, I need to get in control again, so here goes wish me luck! :)

Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!

Welcome Huggit! I can hardly believe it myself but I don't NEED my chocolate fix now. Used to have at least 100gm a day. I find it best to cut right down on the sweets etc as I am sure I was addicted to sugar. The other thing I've done is to stop drinking wine as I get too relaxed then and then give in. Tut, tut!

Hi I have had a short break from my diet. This week on holiday I ate too much junk and quick meals. When I got back yesterday I had to have loads of veggies!! Today I hope to be back on track with healthy eating and start losing weight again. Wish you every success.
