Losing weight
are you tracking what youre eating and the physcal activities youre doing ? i use the myfitness app on my phone and update everything, ive bought kitchen scales to weight everything and plan my meals as much as i can unfortunately the exercising isnt happening lifegets in the way a little but the weight is slowly moving even without the exercise
Yeah iv been tracking it every day, iv been on a diet now for a week and a bit. Yeah iv gt kitchen scales nd i only weigh myself at the end of every week. Yeah well iv been exercising nearly everyday but iv missed 2 days so im feelng mega fat :(. Just try and exercise when ever u can tho
what current weight are you and how many calories are you taking ? as im a starver i normally only manage about 5-800 calories per day and my body has always been in starvation mode plus ive never been a water drinker i was hospitalized last year for severe dehydration unfortunately ive always been this way, i was 203lbs, im 5'6 33years old and ive opted for 1200 calories which is less than the recommended but a more achievable goal for me to try and eat enough to meet that, im averaging 2lbs per week which is a healthy weight loss but the more you have to lose the quicker it comes off, in work there are 50 of us dieting and most of us are all doing 2lbs per week some 1/2lb and others managing more but everyones different and the body takes time to adjust
Im 11 stone :(. I wanna b down to at least 10 or 9 stone. Really? Dont you ever get tired or light headed? I wish i was more like that but im constantly hungry
Hi MiriPiri,
Week 1 of the 12 week plan explains about safe weight loss and the sort of daily calorie intake you should be aiming for.

Don't be in a hurry to lose weight. An average weight loss of about 0.5 to 1 Kg a week (1 to 2 lbs roughly) is just fine - though you will normally lose weight a bit faster than that in the first week or two.
Sustained rapid weight loss can cause very unpleasant and, in some cases, very dangerous problems. That's why Very Low Calorie Diets (VLCDs), i.e. those of under 1000 Kcal a day should a) be done under medical supervision and b) only be undertaken for a limited period of time.
In reality, they are mainly used for when the risks from the VCLD are less than the risks from the prevailing excess weight or to prepare someone who is very overweight for surgery.
Weight lost in such a way rarely stays off. Also, if the VLCD leads to muscle loss, then the regained weight is likely to be at a higher percentage of fat.
Also, when you eat very little - as you do when you drop your calorie intake down very low - it becomes very difficult indeed to take in the full range of nutrients that your body needs to function correctly.
Good luck with your weight loss journey.
