There's nothing like some episodes of my 600lb life to bring things sharply back into focus. While watching, I coined a new term, "Trumpian Syndrome". It basically means that 1. Bariatrics are in perpetual denial and 2. Every word they say is a mis-truth, mis-direction or outright lie. It's a hard fact. The very first step of anyone suffering from addiction is admitting the truth of your situation and an knowledge of the behaviors that lead to it.
Without that, you enter into a cycle of lying to others and worst of all, yourself. If truth was a secret, a bariatric could conceal it beyond the reach of Indiana Jones himself.
So where exactly am I then? my weight is stable without going up but I need to examine what my a total calorie limit is for maintenance.
I've been working on coming up with a diet with macros in the right proportions at the right calorie level.
The plan then is to follow this diet religiously for at least 2 weeks to get valid results.
So, we'll get started this week and see where we're at come weigh in. Regardless of the results this week, I'll be instituting the diet. I'll keep you posted.
