This seems to be turning into a series, lol. But, I also do this to keep a record of my weight loss journey.
Much like the weeks prior, I ate 3 meals a day. I tried to eat a little more this week, but nonetheless, I still ate around 1,700-2,000 calories.
I exercised for around 45 minutes per day, doing Leslie Sansone's 3 Mile walk, or if I was feeling lazy, I'd do her shorter 1 mile walks twice a day.
What I did change was that I tried intermittent fasting.
This is what Google describes it as:
"Intermittent fasting (IF) is an umbrella term for various diets that cycle between a period of fasting and non-fasting. Intermittent fasting can be used along with calorie restriction for weight loss."
I basically ate my 3 meals between 12pm-4pm (sometimes to 5pm). Then I would not eat from 4pm (16:00) until 12pm (12:00) the next day.
The weeks prior, I would eat from 12pm-7pm, but this was simply to avoid late night snacking (which I used to be very guilty of!).
Anyway, the results...
Last week I weighed 290.1lbs.
This week I weigh 286.4lbs.
That's a loss of 3.7lbs.
So, not a big difference. Last week I had lost 3.3lbs, meaning I lost 0.4lbs more this week. I won't be strictly following intermittent fasting, but I'll still try to roughly use the same eating cycle. I am also going to try to eat more calories. I'm surprised I'm still losing weight, to be honest. I eat so many carbs, but I don't want to give up my rice, cereals, or mashed potato! I'm on quite a high carb diet...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm satisfied that I am almost at my previous weight (before I gained) of 20st 4lbs. On those old Weight Watchers scales, it says I'm 20st 7lbs. Once I surpass my previous weight, then I'll be a little more grateful for the weight loss, because I'll be entering uncharted territory. Oh, and my starting weight was 306lbs, meaning I've almost lost 20lbs.
Thanks for reading! I'll be back next week!
