I became diabetic so lost weight. After about 3 months I had lost 2

1/2 stone by giving up dairy, most carbohydrates and all big meals. I was then able to stop Metformin. I then found I had large kidney stones. Once they are taken out I may know more about what may have caused them. It could have been high protein or low calcium or the Metformin or Aspirin or dehydration. Now my weight is more or less stable at 15st 9lb. I walk 10 miles each week.
