I am trying to lose weight my problems are that because I am prescribed steroids for a long term condition I have weight gain Increase risk of diabetes

Thinning hair and facial hair I thought I would ask

You're very welcome Harry8388, it can't be easy having to cope with all the possible side effects from steroids.

Weight does not cause diabefes. The cause of both is a bad diet and lifestyle.

Hi I think a lot of us ladies have hair in places we don't want it. I know I have. Its not down to steroids though I think mine comes from age and changing hormones. If your hair is dark then laser treatment is an option. It doesn't work on light hair so not a solution for me as mine is grey. So I use a combination of waxing, tweezers and also an epilator. I do it myself. It stings like mad at first but you do get used to it and my hair grows a lot finer now. It might be an idea to ask at a salon if you have a lot of hair to deal with,
