I'm staying positive about this. Its my 1st week of low carbs and have really tried but despite feeling a little better and not as sluggish I'm the same weight...stick with it and invest in some digital scales (I have the doctors style scales)..ps...not made my bread yet, had my psyllium husk delivered today ...have a nice day! π»

Hi, I'd second what Tabby said and suggest you use the Daily Diary: you'll find plenty of low carb eaters there and compare notes and menus.
What has been your favourite meal or ingredient this week?
Hi Artnmusiclover I too am on a low carb, mainly in that Iβve given up bread and potatoes, I did lose some weight at the beginning of my journey, but now Iβve been the same weight for nearly three weeks, but I am walking at least five miles a day, and I measure my waist arms and legs, and find that Iβm losing inches rather than weight, I do worry about not losing the weight as Iβm waiting for hip replacement surgery with the NHS who weigh you and use your BMI to decide wether you are healthy enough to have surgery. Donβt give up we are all on a journey and with support will get there one way or another x
Hi and welcome, Walkeroncrutches
Well done for taking the steps required to improve your health. Stick with it and I'm sure the pounds will go the same way as the inches.
