I am in need of advice. I lost 15 pounds and then came a plateau. Then slowly I eating and now the pounds are creeping up on the scales. I don't know what to do anymore. I am lost in junk food food Isle. My walking has gone by the way side. How do I this behind me and concentrate on losing the weight I put on and get past the plateau!!! I would greatly appreciate it very much to make things clearer in my mind. With great thanks.

Hi Rose-petal, sorry to hear you're struggling. It's difficult to know what to suggest without knowing what you're eating. I suggest you commit to using the Daily Diary for the next couple of weeks where you can share your meal plans and talk to others about your choices. It's very sociable so do give it a go.

Here's the link for Monday's Diary healthunlocked.com/weight-l... It's only just getting going so if you sort out your meal plan for tomorrow and come back later this evening, or in the morning, you'll find there are more people around.

Hi Rose-Petal, Please try and not let this plateau discourage you and then get disappointed by gaining weight and resulting in walking less. I'm sure you know the plateau thing happens to all of us. My weight fluctuates in the week which is very annoying but I've learnt to live with that. When it happens I tell myself OK it will be better tomorrow!! A positive attitude is key. Keep telling yourself you can do it and your mind will begin to believe and accept it. Make meals in advance and have your veg already prepared in containers. Many people including me have a cooking day when you can cook for at least a few days. I even have my lettuce chopped up and ready in the frigde. Write down everything you eat and come what may don't go over you calorie allowance. Once you start losing you'll start feeling much better. Best of luck!!

Great suggestions! I'd only add the tip to look at the downward trend. If that's OK, then you can weather the plateaus and blips. Eating well and seeing weight loss as a happy by-product is the way to go :)

You haven't been around much since you joined in June. How about using the Daily Diary and sharing your meal plans there? It's a great place for chat and encouragement and new ideas. You'll find it in Pinned Posts each day
