I started this plan to encourage my husband to lose weight plus I could do with losing a few pounds myself. We are now on week 10 and he has lost 20 lb .We have enjoyed the recipes and not felt that we are on a diet. We encourage each other and not see it as a competition. There are times when weight is slow but just keep going. Remind yourself just how much you have already achieved. I am new to this forum but wanted to share our success story.
Many congratulations to you and your husband, slow and steady wins the race

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Super story. It's true that one person losing weight often has an impact on others. It one point, my wife and all three daughters had adjusted their eating after I'd started losing weight. These things can be positively contagious. 😄
Well done both of you. Your husband's weight loss has been quite fast - It will slow down - it always does but don't worry it will take time to get to the end.
That's a fantastic result for both of you. Well done!
To be honest I wish I had joined you all earlier. I could have done with the support but I am on week 11 of the 12 week plan and I am pleased to say I weighed today and am over the moon to say I've reached my target. 😁😁😁. I joined this forum to share my story and support others. If I can do it I wanted to help others. I will be sticking with the healthier choices as I don't want to undo my hard work. I just spent the last hour trying on clothes I havnt got into for a long time. Not sure if I should say this but I felt amazing. 😊😊😊 Good luck to everyone. Give yourselves something to look forward to. 😊
I hope you'll be joining our Maintainers' Club, Carer53. This is this month's, but there's a new one posted on the first of every month healthunlocked.com/weight-l...
