Hi, first day so pretty new to this, but not to trying to lose weight 😩 constant battle. However I now just want to do it healthily without cutting some food groups out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. X

Welcome to the group. I’ve only started two weeks ago so am new as well. Losing weight (and keeping it off) is never easy but you have made the first two all important steps: recognising that it has to be done and finding the support to help you do it x x
Good luck, maybe calorie counting or a plan like Slimming World with work for you, so you're not cutting out whole food groups just eating in a balanced way. It's worth doing a bit of research to find the right thing for you.
Hello I count calories alongside 16/8 fasting ,cos stops me eating in the evenings ,I allow myself 1600 a day but don’t always use them up ,they are there if needed so my mindset is better ,,,for years I’ve fluctuated cos of silly diets ,,this one has calmed me down and now seems natural ,,it’s just a thought ,,but I eat normal food with a treat ,,hope it helps
