I'm on week 2 of the c25k, I originally started it 6 weeks ago, but struggled, so, stopped it, joined a gym and worked hard to lose some weight and trim up so that I could start it again... which I did.. I'm doing Run 3 of Week 2 tomorrow morning..
The biggest thrill is that people are noticing that I've lost weight.. I had to miss Wednesday's weigh in due to work but I'm hoping that come next Wednesday I'll have hit the stone off mark! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
So I thought I'd share my change with you lovely people!

Reduced portion size, gym EVERY DAY to do rolling hills on the bike and rolling hills on the treadmill and chest press weights, I cut out chocolate, crisps... and I have my "goal dress" hanging in the wardrobe!
I should think you are pleased with yourself! Well done
As you've posted photos, I would suggest you lock your post so it isn't available to the whole of the internet. This explains how healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Hi Sunny03 , thanks for your support. I see that you're a member of other HU forums. Would you like to join our Weight Loss forum too, or are you just visiting? Which ever you decide is fine by us.
Hello BridgeGirl π Sorry, I thought your response was for Little_Lizzie. Yes, I am running regularly (Iβm on week four of Bridge to 10K) but I just popped in (over) to say a massive well done to Little_Lizzie as Iβve been following her journey from day dot. Didnβt meant to intrude! π
Definitely not an intrusion. Popper inners are always welcome. We just check when we see someone without a badge in case they need the guided tour π
Lizzie that's an amazing before and after. So impressed with your tenacity after your first go at C25K. Well done with building up your fitness and cutting the treats and portion sizes all at the same time. Can't wait to see your graduation badge over on the other forum. Keep up the fabulous work πππ
Hello, healthy-laughter, I'm thinking you've dropped in to offer support but if you're wanting to join the Weight Loss forum, let me know and I'll explain what's on offer and how to find your way around
Thanks BridgeGirl - I've been following Lizzie's journey over on the other forum and think she's amazing. I do pop in to this forum from time to time for inspiration as I am trying to loose weight as well as get fitter, but decided to focus mainly on the exercise to bed that habit in first (having been a classic yo-yoer since my teens). I'm not dieting at the moment just trying to cut down and exercise. Have lost 3 stone since lockdown and am now out of the morbid obesity range but have a long way to go. I'm going to try and keep going without formal dieting at the moment as it has never given me that long term life style change I need and the weight just goes back on. Just trying something different this time so not sure if my approach is any good for this forum. Love reading people's positive posts and menu ideas though.
You seem well on track and I hope you'll pick up useful bits and pieces here. I'll give you a Visitor badge so you don't keep being asked if you want to join
A lot of us also belong to the LCHF forum: you might like to look in there, too
Fantastic! That's the sort of thing which keeps us going, funnily enough before I saw your post I posted a comparison pic of my own, admittedly more than 6 weeks between the two, but it's just reminded me how far I've come.
Hi Lizzie, you are doing so well, you should be very proud of what you are achieving. Hope you get your stone on zWednesday, thatβs my weigh in day to, see you thereπ
