Hi I'm Kate. At my heaviest this year I was 12 stone 6. ( April time) . My ideal weight is 9 stone 7. I'm 5 '1 so this is within my healthy range. I'm 48 and weight has crept up over the last 4/5 years. I gave up drinking 3 years ago this Christmas and have replaced it with cake and chocolate...
Weight today : 11 stone 11.
I'm hoping that weighing in each week will keep me on the right track. Ive upped my walking daily and I have a new exercise bike ready to be assembled! I also have a one year old cavapoo who loves his walks and is able to walk further now he is older. X

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Thank you - I will have a look around as I tend to get a bit lost! I am determined to lose the pounds as I'm not getting any younger and I want to be fighting fit in my 50's and have just under 12 months before that milestone!
