Hi and welcome, Berryboo4
Maybe it's the foods you're choosing that's making your appetite control go haywire? Have a look at these:
well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013...
healthunlocked.com/api/redi...
All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Wishing you all the best
Very much recommend the Daily Diary as the devil is in the detail.
And if you're finding you can't 'control' your eating, that might point to biochemical reasons (hunger and cravings based on what is being eaten) rather than any shortcoming of intention.
Basically, discussing 'what' you are eating might be a big clue as to why control isn't as good as you'd like.
Hello!
I've just started (one month ago). I would suggest you to take a look in calorie counting and then LCHF. In my case, my hunger comes mainly from the consumption of highly refined carbs. Apparently they promote several effects on my body like anxiety, emotional hunger, nightmares and stress.
I'm reading the book The Obesity Code (suggested by my GP) to understand how highly refined carbs can affect me. Give it a try when you have time.
Have a nice day.
