For the last 6 months I’ve managed to keep within my my maintaining weight of 85kg but for the last month ive lost the feeling of wanting to exercise and eat well.

Ive managed to slip into my old poor eating habits And my weight has been slowly gaining.

I weighed myself today and hit 91.2 kg.

Dont feel happy in myself in appearance and mood feelings.

Now gonna get back on track and going to get under 85 kg

Set myself a target of 4 weeks.

I know can do it. My problem starts when tired and eat and cant stop.

Any help be much appreciated.

My tip would be to join the Daily Diary and commit yourself to it for the 4 weeks. You'll find it a good place for discussing food choices and sharing ideas.

You could also join jennilou 's CIC challenge which has 4 weeks to run. That involves setting yourself weekly targets.

Take advantage of all the forum has to offer and that, plus your own commitment, should see you making the changes you want and need :)

Oh how frustrating but you’re still really close! Keep with it! I am currently doing Cura Romana which when you get to maintenance if you gain weight it suggests re-setting with a “steak day”. It’s a bit quirky but it worked for me. You don’t eat anything until dinner, and meanwhile drink plenty of water and/or herbal tea. For dinner you eat a huge steak (the largest you can manage) and an apple. The next day I had lost 3 pounds which started me back on track. More importantly, I felt “satisfied” again and lost that “can’t get full/satisfied” feeling. I don’t know what it does or if it works in general. One thing it says throughout maintenance after losing a lot of weight... you need to consume a lot of protein and some fat to teach your body it isn’t starving, and eating less when you’re hungry is actually counterproductive. I’m only on an interim maintenance now (2 stone down, 2 to go) but I’m hoping this practice maintenance will help when I get to my goal. I’m not sure if that helps but best wishes to you!

The fact that you are addressing it is great . Loads of us have those times and things in our lives that get us off track . 3 weeks of rain has made me really low but back on the You Tube Zumba after almost a month off -wow did I feel it afterwards but felt great . Shopping today and there are aisles I won’t walk down .

After a few days of eating within my calorie range I’m now 89 kg so lost all the water retention so have only 4 kg to lose which is still a lot but definitely something i can achieve. Currently doing a 3 mile walk will do another one later before work.

I had a low mood yesterday but managed to not eat as was just signals that was hungry when actually was tired. Thanks for everyone’s support it helps a lot x
