Hi and welcome, Kellym8
Maybe it's time to look at what you're eating, instead of just focusing on how much you're eating?

Hi Kellym8, welcome aboard
I agree with moreless, when you're sticking to a plan and it isn't working, explore other plans. She's given you plenty of reading so I hope you find a new way to get the pounds moving
Hi Kelly, As you've started a new exercise regime I would imagine that the weight gain is probably down to this and fluid around your joints. It'll go as your body gets more used to it and you'll have lost fat and gained muscle which is much better. Stick with it and don't lose hope, it'll be so worth it in the end. In the meantime if you could send me some of your motivation please 😘

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in, I found lots of motivation by joining in.
You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too.
Good luck I hope to "see " you around.
Are you remembering to add all your drinks in? I find a few alternate days on 800 calories is a really good way to kick start weight loss
Its annoying as you are really making an effort. Try downloading the free gives you the basic Myfitnesspal app . It gives you basic macros and you can scan barcodes . Don't skimp on drinks . Fruit tea - hot or cold I find refreshing . I put it in my water bottle with the teabag in it . you have enough quality calories . I eat quite a few omelettes , tinned fish and cottage cheese . Cottage cheese is my lazy food . The only one I buy is from Lidl . The plain - full fat . Half a tub .Sprinkle of herbs and smoked paprika . Handful of cherry tomatoes , onions , pepper, mixed leaves . The cottage cheese = 150cal and the generous salad will give you a decent filling lunch with 2 mins effort . I basically do a 400 , 600 , 400 3 meals a day with 100 cals to play with . I am 5ft 1 and 61 years old. I walk , do Zumba and long I can . Try You Tube for variety with exercise . I haven't gone back to the gym yet. I maintain around 62-65 kg . Not crazy light but I feel I don't want to be scrawny with excess flab . I have managed to keep a very flat stomach which was my goal after 5 kids made me look like Humpty Dumpty.
Hi there Kellym8
I am just wondering if your weight gain could be hormonal, before your period?
A new regime can initially give you a loss. Try it o keep positive and keep moving x
