Hello chloe and welcome to the forum,

I haven't had any surgery, but certainly don't think it will be the answer to your problem. Not everybody who has surgery manages to keep the weight off, if they do manage to loose it.

As for how do you arrange one, you would have to go through your Doctor.

Why not get involved here, make some virtual friends and experience the support for yourself and see if that is enough to motivate you to find a healthy way of eating. We are a supportive lot and all have a story of some sort to tell. We are not all fit and healthy, many of our members are unable to exercise, but have still successfully lost weight.

Come here as often as you can, find out how to navigate the forum and read and join in with all the posts.

If you haven't already, please take the time to read the Welcome Newbie post, this will help you to navigate the forum, which is best done using the full website and not the app.

Please also take a look at all of the Challenges, Clubs and Events that we have, to help to keep you motivated and engaged with the forum.

The above link will take you to all the information you need. Participation is key to success and I would recommend that you at least join the Daily Diary and a Weigh In day of your choice. Lytham has already invited you to join in with the Tuesday Trimmers today, she will give you a very warm welcome :)

As a peer to peer support group, we all benefit from encouragement and support from one another, so look forward to seeing you join in around the forum :)

Wishing you the best of luck on your weight loss journey :)

PS - Please pay particular attention to this, as you are using your name and a picture of yourself as your avatar and have left your post unlocked,
