Hello, I'm very new here and am feeling really vulnerable at the moment. I hate my body and need to change my weight, I have tried to use the NHS weightloss app but cannot work out how or where to record my waist measurements. It's really obvious how to do the BMI but I cant find out where to put measurements. I've reset it three times now thinking that I've missed something, I need someone else's brain for this! Any help will be gratefully received.

NHS Weightloss App help
Hi and welcome, Sidriss
I'm sorry I've never used the NHS app so can't help you there, I found a notebook to be perfectly adequate. I'm sure someone else will be able to give you some guidance.
All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Wishing you all the best
Hi Sidriss, it's lovely to meet you. Please know you are not alone in how you feel, i was there this time last year. I started my weight loss and healthy lifestyle journey at the beginning of september and my physical and mental health have both vastly improved in that time.
I used the nhs app at the beginning so am a little rusty on its workings but i do remember at then end of each week clicking the button 'end of week' and putting my weight and waist measurement there. Sorry i don't remember about putting it in initially. I would add that as my journey has continued i do wish i'd done more than just my waist measurement and recorded them manually. My waist has gone down from 63" to 47" and i know all the other areas have shrunk too but have no record of it. Going down in inches is so motivating and sometimes when the scales seem to stick the tape measure shows you are still shrinking 😊.
Do have a good look round the forum and join in as much as you can. The help, support and advice is second to none.
I look forward to seeing you active around the forum xx
Hi Sidriss. Have you tried this one

It is so difficult when you feel as if you hate your body. My weight loss journey has centred about loving my body and being grateful for my health. I have found that some CBT has made me feel differently and although my weight is still not ideal, I am generally more positive about my body.
Hi I use myfitnesspal.com/ which I find quite easy. It is a bit American focussed though. I've returned to it after about 5 years and putting on a lot of weight. I'm looking for friends on there for mutual support as I haven't got any who are currently weight watching. Let me know if you're interested.
