Hi WW2 - you know, those lethargic days are just as important as the days when we are full of buzz - it's our body telling us 'hey I need a down day mate - stop pushing me so much!'

I've had a lethargic week really, I was determined to have a quiet half term before 1st June when as a school we start our new normal. I've enjoyed reading, a bit of walking and meeting up with friends who are on their own and haven't seen anyone for weeks.

I've not done much on this forum or other group chats, just spent a week on me - it's what I needed.

BTW your lunch sounded great!

Good luck for your weigh in and for your week ahead.

Hi DGJ, thanks again for your support. I definitely think I am in need of a couple of days off and a rest...but that is what the weekend is for! I am glad that you managed to have some time for yourself, God knows you are going to need the mental strength for the next 6 weeks. Good luck with your journey!

Yep. Last week I had a couple of nights when I skipped my workout& went to bed. But I rallied!

Hi SFG, glad to know that you rallied. Not worth beating yourself up about it. My lethargy did make me think though. Thank you for your support!

Well if you are in the UK, it’s hot and things are stressful. I’d say that’s reason enough to want to have a little lie down...

I’m sorry to hear about your lethargy and I do know what you mean. My exercise has halved this week. I don’t know how it will affect my weight loss but I’m ok with it because I really feel that I needed the break. Pushing yourself is a good thing, most of the time, if you allow time to heal or recover if you are physically hurt. I’m viewing my short break this week as a recovery period - not from physical injury but from mental tiredness - Maybe that makes sense? I’m going to pick it up again on Sunday by finding a different workout to re-energise me. No idea what yet 😊Keep up your spirits. You’re doing well with your lovely lunch 🥙 and supportive wife 😎

Hey Sheperdess, Hopefully I am going to allow my body to rest over the weekend...apart from the 14,000 steps, I still need to do those. But as far as getting up at 5.30am to exercise goes...that's for Monday now. And I certainly know what you mean about mental tiredness, I definitely feel mentally as well as physically tired. I, myself, am going to change the exercise video I do after next week. It's still giving me a good exercise workout and I haven't tired of it (too much) yet. Thank you once again for your amazing support!
