Today, like all days, I was awake and exercising by 6am. It really helps me to get into the right frame of mind for the day. Today's reflection is about the exercise videos I have tried and the ones I have continued with, as well as some other exercises I do.
Tnx Ww2 - took a look at Team Body Project this morning - enjoyed it! Quite long if you're time constrained but a good work out! I like Joe W but I enjoyed having a bit of music to work along to and having normal people alongside. 12 weeks ago I wd never have said I'd enjoy working out at home but actually I now do! Particularly enjoy my 2 yoga sessions so really hope they will continue.
Both are via zoom and are quite different - one is with a group called DYBO Health & Fitness, it's her business so its a pay session but well worth it - Helen is mainly a dance teacher so it's more a rhythmic relaxing yoga session. I also do another stretch class with her. 2nd one is my daughters friend, we join her personal yoga session and donate to charities of our choice. More a classic holding poses session but I've seen significant improvemènt in my joint mobility. Lot of breathing and calming techniques in both. I did yoga a lot when i was younger and really wished id kept it up as I've had real hip and knee issues as I've got older - mainly cos I'm overweight!!
Certainly Helen is looking at keeping her zoom yoga session going, my daughters friend prob won't (shame) it's been a social gathering opportunity for connecting with her family in Poland and other friends in Europe. Amazing how dual linguistic these young people are, ive felt quite privileged to be able to join them! Sorry i cant direct you to one on YouTube, YT has been a revelation for me - such a load of interesting stuff on there!
Both sound amazing and it's really nice to have friends and people you know that do things like that. YouTube is a revelation - it's helped not only my fitness and eating, but also my photography. Lots of things learnt during this lockdown that I am going to implement! Thank you for sharing and for your support.
