Just a quick question... I’ve recently started eating 1,200 calories a day and managed to lose 6 pounds in 3 weeks.
However I’ve noticed I’m bloating a lot more, my belly swells and it’s really tight by the end of the night, this has only started happening the past week.
Any reason why?
Thanks!

The bloating could well be to do with what you are eating. White carbs cause a lot of bloating to a lot of people as do some vegetables.
As you are calorie counting, have you worked out your own personal range by using the NHS BMI calorie counter? We would always suggest that you always start towards the top of the range.
6lbs in 3 weeks is a nice weight loss, well done

I used to bloat after dinner but for the last 12 years I've been eating an active yogurt after my dinner and it does work it takes the bloat out of your belly and stops tummy ache
I bloated as if I were pregnant until I changed to lactose free dairy and almost no gluten - not sure which was the worse offender but definitely had issues with both. Amazing that this has stopped the swelling that I lived with for years.
There is an amazing probiotic that is completely different from all the rest, as it is the foundational microbe... check out mutaflor.org. The story of its discover and development is pretty awesome too. My gastroenterology surgeon takes it all the time, he suggested I go on it so I did, and it's fantastic for harmonizing the intestines.
