Hello Pangolin43 and welcome to this Forum! 5lbs in 4 weeks is good!!! Lookjng at last years statistics on here the average loss per person was 0.7 lbs🙂 Its not just losing weight, its keeping it off so slow and steady is find dont worry.

I think you've done brilliantly Pangolin and should carry on at the rate you are. It means you're eating at a pretty sensible rate and enough so that you shouldn't get too hungry.
Speed things up and the opposite occurs and potentially worse.

Five pounds in four weeks is OK.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
