Welcome Johnny-English
So sorry to hear you've hit rock bottom... But from that viewpoint - the only way is up!!
This is the best weight loss forum there is.. It's supportive, encouraging, has great events and is all free.. just connect to wifi and your in!!
Do consider checking with your health professional regarding your actions to lose weight and get their support locally to compliment this wonderful forum...
The best way to benefit from this forum is to be as involved as you can be, join one of the Weigh In's for the day that best suits you to check your weight each week, plan your menu's with the Daily Diary and chat and encourage others and you will reap the rewards and be motivated to move towards your goals with more determination than you can have on your own!
Do have a good slow read of the newbie post the admin team will give you a link for.. I call it the sat-nav to the forum benefits..
We all choose what type of meal plan will suit us as individuals, but personally I would recommend you have a lookie at dietdoctor.com it's free, informative with excellent advice with no adverts.
Cheering you on to success..🎉🎉🎉
Hi and welcome, Johnny-English
I felt exactly the same as you when I arrived here and my BMI was 44. It was this post that turned things around for me and made me research an alternative route and one that was successful healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... I hope it will be the start of better things for you too.
All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Wishing you all the best for 2020
Sorry to see you're feeling low, J-E, I've found weighing in on a weigh in day is very helpful, people are very supportive, and also know where you are coming from.
I wish you all the best on your weight loss journey.
Hi, Johnny-English , welcome.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Sorry you are not happy but have a look at what Moreless said -I’m sure you will feel encouraged
Onwards and 🤞🤞downwards
Good luck
Hello Johnny-English and welcome to our friendly forum,
You have had some lovely responses and I hope they are helping to cheer you up. You couldn't have come to a better place for support. There are many here who have been where you are. I hope that you will find time to read the information that moreless and minniewinny have given to you.
I am going to give you another link, to moreless' success story, that she omitted to share earlier, in the hope that it encourages you even more.
